±12V High-Efficiency Boost Module

A compact, dual-output DC-DC boost converter module generating precisely regulated +12V and −12V from a single 2.7–5.5V DC input. Built with PC casing and metal reinforcement for mechanical durability and partial EMI containment. Maximum continuous output is conservatively rated at 6W (7W peak), supporting +400mA on the positive rail and 350mA on the negative rail. Conversion efficiency reaches 86% on the +12V output and 79% on the −12V output—among the highest for integrated dual-rail boosters in this input range. Static current draw is just 7mA, supporting low-power standby modes. Operates at 1.38MHz for fast transient response and minimal output capacitance requirements. Output voltage stability is maintained within ±0.5% under load variation and ±1% across full input voltage swing. Ripple remains below 60mV on both rails under rated load. Includes internal current limiting, over-voltage protection, and thermal shutdown. Suitable for operation between −40°C and +85°C ambient.
