Solar Charging Board 5A MPPT Reverse Connection Protection AntiBackflow Low Power Consumption
Solar Charging Board 5A MPPT Reverse Connection Protection AntiBackflow Low Power Consumption
Item Type: Solar Charging Board
Material: PCB, aluminum alloy
Uses: 1W-100W 8V-28V, suitable for 9V 12V 18V 24V solar panels to charge batteries, nickel-cadmium, nickel-metal hydride, lithium batteries (battery packs), wind generators, solar street lights, etc.
Input Voltage: DC 8-28V input DC voltage(alternating current is prohibited)
Output Voltage: DC 5-26V stepless adjustable
2-4 string lithium batteries, lithium iron phosphate charging management board
Output Current: 5A
Charging Indicator: Yes (the red light will be on for fast charging, the red and blue lights will flash alternately when fully charged, and will stop automatically when fully charged)
MPPT Function: Yes (MPPT maximum power point automatic tracking function, which can make full use of solar energy charging)
Minimum Voltage Difference: 1V (because this is a buck regulator module, the input voltage must be at least 1V higher than the output)
Ultra-Low Power Consumption: Yes
Working Temperature: Industrial grade (-40℃ to +85℃)
Load Regulation Rate: ±1%
Voltage Adjustment Rate: ±0.5%
Conversion Efficiency: Maximum: 93%, Peak: 95%, different lighting conditions are different
Charging Method: Fully automatic and intelligent three-stage charging mode
No-Load Current: 3mA
Input Reverse Connection Protection: Yes
Output Reverse Current Protection: Yes (effectively prevent the electric backflow charging board of the battery at night)
Wiring Mode: With wiring terminal
MPPT Voltage: Arbitrarily adjustable
Debugging Method:
Step 1: Connect the solar battery, not the battery to be charged, if the output has voltage, go to step 2. If there is no output, slowly reduce the MPPT CCW until there is an output voltage.
Step 2: Turn down the output voltage CCW until the red and blue lights flash, and then roughly adjust the output voltage to the full cut-off voltage
Step 3: Connect the dead battery, and monitor the charging current with an ammeter on the output terminal, and fine-tune the MPPT potentiometer until the charging current is the maximum.
Step 4: Connect the battery that is just fully charged, if the blue light turns up the output voltage CW until the red light turns on. Then slowly reduce the output voltage CCW until the blue light is on, and then use a multimeter to measure to determine whether the cut-off voltage is correct to avoid overcharging! If the MPPT voltage value of the solar panel is known, the MPPT voltage value can directly ask the seller who sells the solar panel to you.
The Method of Using a Regulated Power Supply Instead of Solar Energy:
Step 1: Adjust the regulated power supply to the solar MPPT voltage (such as 18V)
Step 2: Connect the stabilized power supply to the input terminal and not the battery to be charged. If the output voltage is present, increase the MPPT CW until there is no voltage output. Then slowly turn down the MPPT CCW until there is just an output voltage.
Step 3: Turn down the output voltage CCW until the red and blue lights flash, and then roughly adjust the output voltage to the full cut-off voltage
Step 4: Connect the battery that is just fully charged. If the blue light is on, increase the output voltage CW until the red light is on. Then slowly reduce the output voltage CCW until the blue light is on, and then use a multimeter to measure to determine whether the cut-off voltage is correct to avoid overcharging!
