1000VDC 40KA PV Surge Protector

This DC surge protector is designed specifically for photovoltaic power systems, with a maximum continuous operating voltage (Uc) of 1000VDC and a nominal discharge current (In) of 20kA (8/20μs). It delivers a maximum discharge current (Inmax) of 40kA (8/20μs) and a voltage protection level (Up) of 3.8kV, ensuring robust overvoltage suppression during lightning surges or switching transients. The unit measures compactly for rail mounting and weighs approximately 0.5kg. Its enclosure is made from fireproof, high flame-retardant polycarbonate (PC), rated IP20 for indoor use. Installation follows the standard 35mm DIN rail system for quick, secure integration into PV combiner boxes or DC distribution panels.
