1.25" Optical Contrast Filter for Moon & Sky

This 1.25-inch (31.7 mm) eyepiece filter features optical glass with a light purple transmission profile, housed in a black anodised aluminum alloy barrel (M28×0.6 mm thread). At ~17 g, it’s engineered for balance and reliability on all standard 1.25-inch accessories. It reduces glare and brightness from the full Moon to uncover surface relief and geological features, while also suppressing skyglow to increase contrast under light-polluted skies — particularly beneficial for nebulas and extended objects. Supplied with a protective storage case.
