13-Digit ABS Soroban Learning Tool

This 13-digit soroban abacus is built from injection-moulded ABS plastic, measuring 25 cm in length, 7.5 cm in width and 2 cm in height (9.84 x 2.95 x 0.79 inches). Its robust frame houses thirteen vertical rods, each fitted with five movable beads (one upper 'heaven' bead and four lower 'earth' beads), following the standard Japanese soroban format. The material offers excellent rigidity for stable operation and a matte surface finish that minimises glare during prolonged study sessions. Designed for multi-stage learning — from kindergarten counting exercises to Key Stage 2 mental arithmetic strategies — it supports direct instruction, peer-led practice and independent revision.
