Drill holes using a quarrying-specific drill bit, then remove residual powder from the holes. 3. Insert the two side wedges into the hole with the flat sides facing each other (wider end down). 4. Insert the central wedge (narrow end down) between the two side wedges. 5. Gently tap the central wedge with a hammer to split the stone.
