This round tarpaulin is sized at 250cm diameter to fully cover a 220cm pool with generous 5cm overhang on all sides. It uses 200g/m² UV-resistant woven polyethylene fabric, double-coated for enhanced durability: blue on top for clean appearance and partial solar reflection, black on the bottom to absorb incoming light and limit algal photosynthesis. The internal black layer actively reduces light transmission — a scientifically grounded method to curb algae proliferation during extended off-season coverage. Reinforcement includes double-layered aluminium eyelets placed precisely every 1 metre, paired with a robust tensioning rope and ratchet system for quick, tool-free setup. Rated for continuous operation from -40°C to +70°C, it performs reliably across UK seasonal extremes — from damp autumn winds to frosty January mornings and mild spring thaws.
