Dimensions: 70 x 27 x 13 mm. Weight: approx. 25 g per unit. Includes 2 identical modules. Constructed from PCB, plastic housing and metal connectors. Powered solely via USB 5V — no external power adapter required. Supports transmission distances up to 1200 meters at 9600 bps, and baud rates up to 256000 bps. Features full galvanic isolation between USB power supply and RS-485 signal lines, enhancing noise immunity in industrial environments. Built-in TVS diodes provide transient voltage suppression, ESD protection, surge protection, and short-circuit protection for both AB signal lines and power input. Operates reliably across -40°C to +80°C ambient temperatures. Compatible with Windows (98 through 10, including Server editions), Linux, and supports true hot-swap functionality. Uses CH340E USB-UART bridge IC. Hardware auto-detects data direction — no DTR/RTS handshaking, jumpers or software configuration needed. Works seamlessly with existing RS-485 communication software and PLC/POS/printer interfaces.
