This 30cm-long, 30g timer module delivers scheduled, full-power router restarts to refresh memory and sustain optimal performance. Users select either a 12-hour or 24-hour cycle—timing begins once the module is energised. At the end of each interval, it interrupts power for exactly 5 seconds (factory default), then reconnects—guaranteeing a complete hardware reset. Its minimalist construction—no display, no wireless components, no batteries—means it operates silently and reliably inside cabinets or behind furniture. Supplied in a polybag, it serves a singular purpose: mitigating cumulative resource exhaustion in consumer-grade routers, which commonly exhibit degraded throughput, increased ping variance, or DHCP lease failures after extended uptime. Particularly effective in dual-band or mesh node environments where background tasks accumulate unnoticed.
