35mm Hinge Locator Durable Metal Jig

Overall size: approx. 12 × 12 × 8 cm (4.72 × 4.72 × 3.15 inches). Constructed from precision-stamped metal with reinforced corners and polymer alignment inserts. Designed solely for creating accurate 35 mm hinge cup recesses in solid wood, plywood, MDF, and particleboard. Features fixed-diameter bushing and edge-guided base — delivers repeatability within ±0.3 mm across consecutive holes. No calibration or adjustment needed: insert drill bit, rest jig firmly on door edge, and drill straight down. The guide sleeve maintains bit perpendicularity, minimising tear-out and ensuring clean entry/exit on both sides. Used widely for retrofitting soft-close hinges into older cabinets, building custom wardrobes, fitting replacement doors, and assembling flat-pack kitchens — especially where accuracy must be maintained across uneven or non-square door edges.
