35mm Hinge Positioning Tool

A purpose-built positioning aid for installing 35mm European-style concealed hinges. Measures 120 × 45 × 25 mm and weighs 180 g. Manufactured using UV-stabilised ABS for resistance to workshop lighting exposure, with hardened steel drill guides rated for >5000 drilling cycles. Features a single-axis 90° guide path aligned to standard hinge cup diameter and depth. Base includes micro-textured grip surface and square corner reference for flush mounting against panel edges. Designed for use with 3 mm pilot bits and 35 mm Forstner bits on doors 16–22 mm thick. Tested on melamine-faced chipboard, birch plywood and solid oak with consistent performance across grain orientations.
