Blackberry Trackball Sensor, 360° Trackball Module VCC supports 3.3V or 5V power supply Features directional inputs: Up, Down, Left, Right, and a center button for user interaction Four independent LED indicators: Red, Green, Blue, and White Dimensions: 20 x 28 mm Usage Instructions: 1. Connect to the development board via the 11-pin header. VCC can be 3.3V or 5V. 2. Five pins (Up, Down, Left, Right, SW1) serve as digital input signals to the microcontroller. 3. Four pins (Red, Green, Blue, White) are digital outputs controlling the respective LEDs. Low-level output turns the LED on; high-level output turns it off. 4. After connection, upload custom firmware to your development board to operate the module. Overview: The trackball module is based on the Blackberry trackball mechanism. It detects motion in X and Y directions using roller movement. Rotating shafts contain multi-pole magnetized magnets that interact with SMD Hall effect sensors to determine movement direction and magnitude. A small SMD switch is integrated beneath the trackball for click functionality.
