4-Handle Garage Emergency Release Kit

A complete two-point emergency release solution: 2 x 4-metre ropes and 4 x ergonomically shaped plastic handles (7.0 × 5.5 × 1.8 cm). Handles feature textured grip zones and flat rear profiles for flush mounting. Rope exhibits low elasticity and high knot retention—critical for positive engagement with release levers. Intended for permanent installation at accessible height (typically 1.2–1.5 m from floor), enabling rapid activation by adults and older children alike. Tested across 18 UK domestic garage installations—including up-and-over, sectional, and roller shutter variants with manual release provisions. Not a replacement for regular maintenance, but a verified last-resort aid aligned with Fire Safety Order 2005 principles for means of escape and resident empowerment during emergencies.
