The 40 mm ends connect to the hoses; the 1.5 inch end connects to standard fittings. [Connect Hose to Standard Pumps Easily] 40 mm to 1.5 inch conversion kit enables connection of 40 mm threaded hose to standard 1.5 inch PVC thread. Used to connect pool equipment to pumps and filters. [Compatibility] Filter hose adapters are suitable for above-ground swimming pools and most soft-side pool filtration systems, as well as pool pumps. Also compatible with rigid pipes; can be used to connect above-ground pool hoses to 1.5 inch NPT female PVC adapters or connectors.
