450mm Woodworking Miter Gauge And Box Joint Jig Kit T-track Slot With Adjustable Flip Stop For Router Table Bandsaws • The miter gauge consists of a long and thin guide plate, which is located in the miter groove of the table saw (some band saws also have a miter groove) and guides the miter guide parallel to the blade. • Attached to this guide is a half-moon-shaped part that pivots at its connection point with the guide. • The locking mechanism then allows the pivoting part to be locked at any angle. • Place a board against the flat part of the gauge, and then slide the entire assembly (clamp gauge and board) forward so that the saw blade cuts the end of the board at a prescribed angle.
