5 Inch Aluminum Leaf Filter Guard

This gutter guard is manufactured from rigid, extruded aluminium sheet formed into a durable mesh structure. It fits standard 5-inch K-style gutter systems — the most common profile found on UK semi-detached, terraced, and detached homes. Dimensions are width: 5 inches (127 mm), thickness: approx. 0.8 mm, with an open-area ratio of ~65% to maximise water passage while minimising leaf ingress. Weight is approximately 0.3 kg per linear metre, offering rigidity without overloading existing gutter supports. The material is untreated aluminium, relying on its native oxide layer for lifelong corrosion resistance — fully compatible with zinc, galvanised steel, and copper gutter materials. Installation is performed by measuring, cutting with hand snips, and securing using self-tapping screws or compatible bracket kits (sold separately). Suitable for new builds, renovation projects, and like-for-like replacements where existing gutters are intact but vulnerable to blockages from overhanging trees or frequent leaf fall.
