600P High-Resolution Rotary Encoder

This incremental rotary encoder provides selectable resolutions of 100, 200, 360, 400, 500 or 600 pulses per revolution, powered by 5–24V DC. Its housing size is 38 × 35.5 mm (1.49 × 1.39 in), with a 6 mm diameter shaft extending 13 mm (0.23 × 0.51 in). It features AB two-phase orthogonal square-wave output via NPN open-collector configuration. Rated for up to 5000 revolutions per minute mechanically, with a signal response bandwidth of 0–20 kHz. The unit ships with a 1.5-metre cable and standard colour-coded wiring: red for positive supply, black for ground, green for A-phase, and white for B-phase. Commonly applied in rotational and linear displacement sensing — such as angular position, speed, acceleration, and length measurement — especially in intelligent leather-cutting systems, steel length control, civil height gauges, and student-built robotics platforms.
