6.5HP Engine Recoil Starter Assembly

Designed specifically for 5.5 HP and 6.5 HP engines, particularly Honda GX160 and GX200 models. Key physical dimensions: 6.30 inches (160 mm) between outer mounting holes (measured through centre), 3.15 inches (80 mm) between adjacent holes, and 1.97 inches (55 mm) ratchet diameter. Features a robust metal housing that resists abrasion and maintains shape under load — unlike brittle or flexing plastic housings. The pull cord is selected for strength and low-friction movement. A pre-tensioned recoil spring guarantees prompt, complete rewind after each pull. Includes one pull plate, one rope, and three screws. Compatible with part number 27400-Z1T-702. Note: Pawls are curved steel — verify shape and size against your current unit before ordering.
