A direct-fit thermostatic replacement kit designed strictly for the 98282000 shower model. Dimensions, thread pitch, flow path geometry and actuation mechanism are replicated to match OEM specifications. Primary construction uses solid brass for pressure-bearing and temperature-sensing components, while non-critical structural elements use reinforced plastic for weight and cost efficiency. Each unit is subjected to static water pressure testing at 1.5× rated operating pressure to verify sealing integrity. Intended solely for integration into existing 98282000-compatible shower valves and bathroom mixer systems.
