AM5 Socket Metal Backplate Assembly

A purpose-built metal backplate assembly sized at 65 mm (2.56 inches), developed for AMD AM5 socket motherboards — confirmed compatible with A620, B650, and X670 chipsets. Fabricated entirely from metal, it offers enhanced torsional rigidity and thermal mass compared to non-metal alternatives. Supplied as a single fan mounting plate with matching screws, it installs directly behind the motherboard to reinforce the CPU socket region. This component supports reliable long-term operation by mitigating board flex, improving cooler mounting repeatability, and contributing to overall platform resilience — making it suitable for both novice upgraders and seasoned PC builders working in residential or professional environments.
