Antislip Nylon Sternum Strap

Size: 33.2 cm long × 3.2 cm wide × 1.2 cm thick (13.05 × 1.26 × 0.47 in). Made from tightly woven nylon webbing and injection-moulded plastic components. Designed for compatibility with backpacks using standard shoulder strap widths (25–50 mm). The core function is mechanical load stabilisation: by bridging the shoulder straps at the upper chest, the strap reduces independent strap movement and prevents forward/backward shift of the backpack’s centre of gravity. This improves balance, lowers perceived load weight, and supports upright posture. The antislip buckle eliminates gradual loosening caused by motion or vibration. Use cases include daily school or office carry (e.g., 8–12 kg loads), trail walking with hydration packs, and urban cycling where wind resistance or sudden braking increases strap slippage risk.
