AS5600 Magnetic Encoder 3.3V 12bit High Precision Magnetic Induction Angle Sensor Module

Working Principle: The AS5600 encoder operates on a non-contact Hall effect basis, capturing magnetic field changes via a built-in Hall sensor array as the magnet rotates. This process is converted into a 12-bit digital output, enabling angle measurement without physical contact. 12-bit Resolution: The AS5600 provides 4096 distinct position points per 360° rotation. It features an angle error of ±0.3° across the full range and supports detection at speeds up to 1000 RPM with a 10kHz sampling frequency. Construction: Rated for over 10 million operational cycles due to its contactless magnetic detection mechanism. It features an IP50 rating for resistance against dust and oil. Technical Details: The sensor module includes an integrated ADC, temperature compensation, and a linearization algorithm. It supports a 400kHz I2C communication rate and allows for cascading multiple devices. Outputs include PWM and a linear analog voltage range from 0.5V to 4.5V. Usage Scenarios: Motor control, servo motors, industrial automation, rotary valves, robotic arms, user interface controls, audio knobs, and steering angle measurements.
