Braked Foldable Laundry Basket

Size: 39 x 19 x 55 cm (15.4 x 7.5 x 21.7 inches); weight: 680 g. Outer material: premium-grade Oxford cloth with reinforced stitching at stress points (corners, handle anchors, wheel mounts). Frame: corrosion-resistant metal with plastic-reinforced wheel hubs. Four 7.5 cm pulleys feature rubberised tread and independent foot-operated brakes. Assembly: metal bracket slides fully into a double-layered fabric channel — self-centring and secure. Folds flat to approx. 7 cm depth. Mesh lid uses high-elasticity polypropylene netting with encased elastic binding for lasting fit and airflow. Tailored for functional UK living: stable on threshold transitions, quiet on engineered wood floors, and compact enough for built-in utility cupboards. The brake system meets real-world needs — such as pausing mid-staircase or holding position on slight inclines in converted basements or attic conversions. Mesh cover also deters lint accumulation and supports faster drying of damp items left overnight.
