Closed Loop Stepper Driver RS485 NEMA23

This closed-loop stepper driver is mechanically and electrically aligned with NEMA23 motor standards, featuring an aluminium alloy enclosure for enhanced thermal performance and durability. It supports microstepping from 1 to 256, arbitrary current setting, and achieves up to 3000 RPM with a maximum pulse input frequency of 160 kHz. All communication occurs over RS485 using MODBUS-RTU, supporting multi-unit daisy-chaining and remote parameter access. Six operating modes are available — open-loop, closed-loop and FOC — each accessible via either pulse interface or serial interface. Motion control includes curve acceleration/deceleration, limit-switch-based return-to-zero, and native support for speed, relative position and absolute position control. Synchronisation across multiple drivers enables tightly coupled multi-axis movement. Signal interface requires matched logic voltages: COM must match the high-level voltage of STP/DIR/EN (e.g., 3.3 V or 5.0 V). Internal structure incorporates ABS material; external finish and minor PCB layout may vary slightly across batches, consistent with standard electronics manufacturing tolerances.
