Colour-Coded Stainless Piercing Test Probes

This set contains four stainless steel insulation-piercing test probes, each equipped with a standard 4 mm banana plug for immediate multimeter integration. Dimensions: approx. 13 × 9 × 4 cm (5.1 × 3.5 × 1.6 in). The probes are purpose-built to access live conductors beneath insulation layers—common in modern bundled wiring harnesses—without compromising conductor geometry or insulation resealing ability. Widely applied in UK MOT testing lanes, rail depot maintenance, renewable energy installations, and marine auxiliary systems. The red, black, green, and yellow colour scheme supports quick probe assignment to specific test functions—e.g., power supply, reference ground, feedback signal, or fault indicator—enhancing procedural discipline and reducing human error during structured testing routines.
