Compact 5V DTMF Decoder Module

This MT8870 DTMF decoding board is built on a compact 20 mm × 30 mm FR-4 PCB and weighs just 5 g. It features clearly printed silkscreen labelling for all functional pins: VCC, GND, IN, Q1–Q4, STD, and OSC1/2. Designed for 5 V DC operation, it accepts AC-coupled audio inputs and outputs decoded DTMF digits as TTL-compatible 4-bit binary signals. The integrated STD pin offers a stable, debounced detection output that asserts only after full tone validation. Two onboard LEDs — red for power presence and green for active decoding — connect directly to internal nodes for immediate visual response. Pre-installed 16-way male headers allow direct insertion into breadboards or connection to terminal blocks out of the box.
