Housing material is injection-moulded polypropylene (PP), chosen for its resistance to thermal expansion, chlorine exposure and long-term moisture absorption. Internal filtration medium consists of tightly packed natural cotton fibres — untreated, undyed, and free from formaldehyde or antimicrobial coatings. Intended for installation directly behind the shower head’s inlet thread — compatible with most UK-made fixed and handheld units. Filters out suspended solids only: sediment, sand, rust fragments, and loose limescale chips — does not alter pH, soften water or remove dissolved contaminants.
