DC Rated Solar Tinned Copper Cord

This 10m photovoltaic extension cord features 4mm² tinned copper conductors and is rated for DC system voltages up to 1500V. Its insulation and outer jacket consist of cross-linked low-smoke halogen-free polyolefin, providing outstanding resistance to UV, extreme temperatures (-40°C to +90°C), ozone, and moisture. The red/black colour scheme is moulded-in for lasting polarity clarity. No shielding or grounding braid is included, as per standard PV cable design for unbalanced DC applications. Engineered for direct burial and surface mounting, it complies with EN 50618 and IEC 62930 for photovoltaic cable performance and safety. Ideal for modular expansion of existing solar arrays or new-build installations where certified, field-ready cabling is needed without custom fabrication. Commonly applied in retrofit solar upgrades, barn-mounted agri-PV systems, EV charger solar integrations, and battery-backed home energy systems across the UK and Northern Europe.
