Engineered for maker and engineer use, this buck-boost module accepts 5–30V input and outputs 0.5–30V continuously. It delivers 3A (30W) with natural cooling, scaling to 4A (50W) with improved thermal management. Physical footprint is 68 × 29 × 22 mm on standard PCB. Verified output ripple: 20mV at 12V/2A. Efficiency ranges from 84–89% (buck) and 86–91% (boost), shifting with voltage differential and load. Input protections include 5A fuse, MOS-based reverse polarity guard, and undervoltage lockout; output includes short-circuit protection. Switching occurs at 180kHz.
