DM556 Stepper Driver Low-Noise Precision

Engineered for reliability in UK and European industrial automation, this DM556 stepper driver powers NEMA 23, NEMA 24 and NEMA 34 (and 42/57mm) stepper motors using a 24–50V DC supply. It employs bipolar constant-current PWM drive technology to deliver smooth, accurate motion — especially at low speeds where vibration and noise are typically problematic. Output current is selectable across eight calibrated levels (1.0A to 5.6A) in 0.5A steps. Optical isolation on all control inputs ensures immunity to electromagnetic interference, supporting pulse frequencies up to 200kHz. With insulation resistance above 500MΩ and dielectric strength of 500V/min, it meets fundamental safety expectations for integration into CE-marked machinery. Dimensions: 12 × 7.8 × 3.5 cm. Housing: black ABS with integrated PCB. Widely applied in engraving systems, labelling stations and semi-automatic packaging units across British manufacturing facilities.
