Downspout Drip Noise Reduction Kit

Size: 2.6 in × 11.8 in. Features a rust-resistant soft metal frame with a bonded front layer of sound-dampening cotton. The full-length cotton ensures all water passing through the elbow makes contact with the absorptive surface, reducing kinetic energy conversion into audible noise. Easy to fit: measure your downspout, remove the elbow, shape the metal into a hanging loop and wrap it snugly around the pipe — works with both PVC and metal downpipes. Optimised for UK rainfall patterns: effective during light drizzle (where drip frequency peaks) and heavy downpours (where volume-induced turbulence causes reverberation).
