Downspout Water Flow Silencer

Precise dimensions: 2.6 inches (66 mm) wide × 11.8 inches (300 mm) long — matching the vertical height of standard UK downspout elbows and bends. Made from a thin-gauge, corrosion-resistant soft metal sheet (non-ferrous, non-magnetic) with a bonded front layer of industrial-grade sound-absorbing cotton. Cotton thickness: 8 mm, density: 120 kg/m³ — calibrated to attenuate both discrete drip impacts and sustained trickles without compression fatigue. Installation is fully reversible: detach elbow, manually bend metal to create suspension hook and pipe-hugging curve, then reinstall. Two units per pack enable staggered deployment — one at the gutter outlet and one 90–120 cm below — disrupting water acceleration at two key points. Compatible with round, square and rectangular downspouts found in UK housing built from the Victorian era to present day.
