Constructed from chrome-molybdenum steel, each unit weighs approximately 43 g (16 mm) or 48 g (20 mm), with heights of 28 mm (1.12 in) and 32 mm (1.28 in) respectively, and a uniform 18 mm base width (0.72 in). Clear 'L' and 'R' markings ensure correct installation every time. Tightening is achieved using common open-end wrenches — 18 mm for the shorter version, 15 mm for the longer. The side-mounted cleat-style features enhance foot positioning and stability, while the extended spindle improves pedalling efficiency and reduces strain on lower-limb joints during long rides or high-intensity efforts.
