A purpose-built PCIe 2.0 card adding two industrial-grade RS232 serial ports to desktop or embedded host systems. Each port features full RS232 pinout (including all handshake lines), supports configurable baud rates up to 230.4 Kbps, and maintains signal integrity over standard shielded cables. Board size is 168 mm × 111 mm × 20 mm; mass is 85 g. Built with RoHS-compliant components and gold-plated DB9 connectors rated for 5,000+ mating cycles. Fully supported on Windows 10/11 (x64), Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, Debian 12, and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP4 via upstream kernel drivers.
