Emergency Kill Switch for Boat Motors with Safety Tether Compatibility

Black emergency kill switch with safety tether lanyard for outboard motors. Many older outboards lack automatic engine shutdown if the operator falls overboard. This device features a wrist-worn or clothing-attached lanyard that stops the engine immediately in case of an accident on the water. The switch is normally open and closes when the lanyard is pulled; it can also be manually activated by pressing the red button. If there is no spark to the outboard’s ignition system, the existing kill switch may be faulty or stuck in the “off” position and require replacement.
