When each circuit is energized, a single LED illuminates.EIM Plus: The ElIM Plus is used with a control panel that does not feature an overspeed shutdown.Overspeed Signal (EIM Plus Only)The ElM Plus monitors the speed signal from a magnetic sensor. If the engine speed increases above the set value, the module sends a 0v signal to the generator set control panel to activate the overspeed fault circuit. Overspeed setpoint values are factory set to 55Hz (50Hz units) and 66Hz (60Hz units). This can be adjusted using the adjustment screw, which is accessed through a hole next to the overspeed setting LED. With the engine running at rated speed (1500 rpm at 50Hz and 1800 rpm at 60Hz), adjust the adjustment screw until the overspeed LED turns off.
