EPDM Draught Excluder D-Shape Strip

Cross-sectional size: ~9 mm × 6 mm; total length: 6 meters; intended for sealing gaps of 4–6 mm width. Material blend comprises EPDM rubber (primary component), silicone, and PVC — chosen for uniform extrusion quality, surface smoothness on both sides, and retention of flexibility below freezing point. The D-profile geometry allows the strip to function as both a static seal and a dynamic buffer: the rounded outer edge conforms to irregular frame surfaces upon compression, while the flat adhesive side ensures full contact area and minimal peel risk. Adhesive is rated for long-term shear strength on vertical and horizontal surfaces under UK indoor/outdoor humidity levels. Commonly applied to sliding window edges, door thresholds, roller shutter guides, and wardrobe door stops. Delivers measurable improvements in room temperature consistency, background noise reduction, allergen control, and hardware longevity — supported by field feedback from installers and end users across England, Scotland and Wales.
