Function: Tests twisted pair wires (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and G) individually to identify short circuits and open circuits. Twisted-pair Test: Press the OFF button to turn on. The CABLE light flashes, indicating active scanning. Insert network cable plugs into the main and remote testers. The host indicator lights will flash sequentially from 1 to G. Adjust the network cable test to 'ON' for a quick test or 'S' for a slow test, catering to different user preferences. Main Tester: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-G Remote Tester: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-G (RJ45), 1-2-3-4-5-6 (RJ12), 1-2-3-4-5 (RJ11). Abnormal Wiring Display: - Disconnected line (e.g., line 3): Main tester and remote tester's No. 3 lights will not illuminate. - Multiple unavailable lines: Corresponding lights will not illuminate. If fewer than 2 lines are connected, no lights will illuminate. - Out-of-order lines (e.g., lines 2 and 4 swapped): Main tester remains unchanged (1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-G), while the remote tester displays (1-4-3-2-5-6-7-8-G). - Two short circuits: Main tester lights do not illuminate; two short circuit lights on the remote test terminal are dimly lit. Three or more short circuits: All short circuit line lights remain off.
