Welcome to the store! The SX460 is a half-controlled thyristor type Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) and forms part of the excitation system for a brushless generator. In addition to regulating generator voltage, the AVR circuitry includes under-voltage and loss-of-sensing protection features. Excitation power is derived directly from the generator terminals. Positive voltage build up from residual levels is ensured by the use of efficient solid-state components in the AVR power circuitry. There is the facility to connect a remote voltage trimmer, allowing for fine control over the generator output.
