ESP-Hi is an ultra-low-cost AI conversational robot based on the ESP32-C3. By integrating a large language model (such as for Xiaozhi AI), it enables intelligent conversational capabilities. A built-in mercury switch detects vibration for wake-up and motion control. A 0.96-inch color screen is integrated for displaying expressions, and the robot can perform dozens of actions. By fully leveraging the ESP32-C3's peripherals, it achieves voice pickup and speech generation with minimal board-level hardware. Simultaneously, software optimizations have been implemented to reduce memory and Flash usage, enabling wake-up word detection and multiple peripheral drivers within resource-constrained environments.
