I2S DAC HAT PCM5122 Stereo Audio

This I2S DAC HAT measures approximately 65 mm × 56 mm × 15 mm and weighs around 25 g. It is built on a high-reliability FR-4 PCB with a protective plastic structural housing. The board integrates the Texas Instruments PCM5122 stereo DAC IC and connects directly to Raspberry Pi via the native I2S interface — no additional wiring or level-shifting required. It draws all necessary power from the Pi’s 5V and 3.3V rails, eliminating the need for an external power supply. Analog stereo audio output is delivered through a standard 3.5 mm TRS jack. Fully compatible with Raspberry Pi 5, Pi 4 (all revisions), Pi 3 (A+/B+/B), and Zero series (Zero, Zero W, Zero 2 W). When properly configured in Raspberry Pi OS using overlays such as dtoverlay=i2s-mmap or hifiberry-dac, it supports playback up to 192 kHz sample rate and 24-bit depth.
