This is the pre-soldered version of XIAO nRF54L15 Sense, a powerful and compact development board built around the Nordic nRF54L15 SoC, featuring a 128 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 core with 1.5 MB flash memory. Measuring just thumb-sized, this board is ideal for modern IoT applications with comprehensive wireless connectivity. It supports multiple wireless protocols including Bluetooth Low Energy 6.0, Matter, Thread, and Zigbee (IEEE 802.15.4-2020). It also includes a new 4 Mbps mode for proprietary 2.4 GHz protocols. Designed for ultra-low power consumption, it is well-suited for battery-powered IoT devices. The board provides 14 GPIO pins, a USB Type-C interface, and onboard battery charging capabilities. This version includes an integrated digital microphone and a 6-axis IMU for audio and motion sensing. Enhanced security features ensure reliable protection for IoT deployments. Developers can utilize the Nordic Connect SDK and PlatformIO with RTOS support for efficient development workflows. The board is compatible with major ecosystems such as Amazon Sidewalk, Apple Find My, and Google Find My Device through the Connect SDK. Comprehensive security features include secure boot, secure firmware updates, secure storage, TrustZone-enabled trusted execution environment, cryptographic acceleration with side-channel protection, and tamper detection, providing robust security for IoT applications.
