L298N Dual Bridge Motor Controller

This L298N dual H-bridge motor driver module measures 43 × 43 × 27 mm and delivers high-performance motor control in a compact form factor. It accepts logic input at 5 V and supports motor drive voltages from 5 V to 35 V, with a maximum continuous current rating of 2 A per channel (3 A peak) and total power dissipation up to 25 W. Designed for durability, it incorporates large filtering capacitors and integrated freewheeling diodes to manage back-EMF and suppress electromagnetic interference. The onboard 78M05 regulator provides regulated 5 V for logic circuits directly from the motor supply — though use of an external 5 V source is advised when drive voltage exceeds 12 V. Compatible with one 2-phase or one 4-phase stepper motor, or two independent DC motors.
