M5 Aluminium Rivet Nuts Flat

A pack of 100 aluminium M5 threaded rivet nuts featuring flat head geometry and a stabilising flange. Key dimensions: 13mm overall length, 7mm body diameter, 10mm flange diameter, 1.2mm flange thickness, and M5 x 0.8 internal thread. Requires a 5mm mounting hole and mates seamlessly with standard M5 flat head cap screws. The knurled body enhances grip in softer substrates, while the aluminium composition offers weight savings and corrosion resilience. Unlike recessed or countersunk variants, the flat head design eliminates need for additional machining steps — ideal for rapid prototyping or low-volume production where CNC time or tooling cost must be minimised. The flange also functions as a built-in washer, removing need for separate washers in many applications and streamlining BOMs. Frequently used across sectors including education labs, exhibition stand fabrication, robotics chassis, and aftermarket automotive accessories — anywhere secure, accessible, and reversible fastening is prioritised over ultimate tensile strength.
