M5x3 Durable 316 Stainless Terminal

M5 × 3 mm cone terminal manufactured from certified 316 stainless steel (1.4401), with full EN 10204 3.1 material certification available on request. Physical specs: overall length 6.2 mm, cone length 3.8 mm, hex width 8 mm, mass 2.1 g. Surface roughness measured at Ra 0.18 μm post-polish; thread pitch 0.8 mm, Class 6g tolerance. The milled flats extend 1.2 mm beyond thread start for unobstructed tool access. Cone interior features micro-textured finish to enhance static friction with wire rope coatings (PVC, nylon, or bare SS). Compatible with DIN 933 hex bolts, BS 4190 set screws and ISO 4017 cap screws. Deployed across UK infrastructure projects including railway footbridge cabling, museum exhibit rigging, university campus shade structures and municipal street furniture tension systems — where lifecycle cost, low maintenance and aesthetic longevity outweigh initial component cost.
