Monoblock Class D Audio Amplifier

A dedicated monoblock Class D audio amplifier board offering 10W output into 8Ω speakers or 30W into 4Ω speakers, powered exclusively by a single DC supply between 8V and 24V. Physical footprint: 52 × 38 × 18 mm; approximate weight: 42 g. Uses mature SMD component placement and thermal-aware trace routing for consistent operation. Input sensitivity range: 0.5–1.5V RMS — compatible with line-out jacks, DAC evaluation boards, and microcontroller audio peripherals. To maintain signal fidelity and prevent instability, speaker cable length must remain at or below 1 metre. A minimum 2A DC supply is necessary for uninterrupted performance at rated power. Protection circuitry guards against overvoltage up to 26V. Polarity is non-negotiable: only correctly oriented positive DC input is allowed; negative rail or reversed supply will result in permanent failure. Voltage ceiling varies by connected speaker: 16V maximum for 4Ω, 24V maximum for 8Ω. This module does not support dual-rail or bipolar configurations. Used across diverse scenarios — including retrofitting vintage speaker cabinets with modern 12V-powered amplification; powering compact audio cues in portable diagnostic tools using 4Ω drivers and 9V alkaline packs; and enabling responsive sound feedback in edge AI devices where 0.5–1.5V digital audio streams drive local speakers without added analogue circuitry.
