MPR121 Capacitive Touch Sensor Breakout

This breakout board hosts the NXP MPR121QR2 capacitive touch sensor controller, operating via I²C interface. Board dimensions: 28 × 18 mm; weight: approx. 2 g. It supports up to 12 independent capacitive touch inputs plus a simulated 13th electrode. Includes 8 configurable pins — usable either as GPIOs or LED drivers. Powered by unregulated 2.5–3.6 VDC input; onboard 0.1 µF decoupling capacitor on VREG pin limits operation to ≥2.5 V (not compatible with 1.71–2.75 V low-voltage mode without hardware modification). Features four default-closed solder jumpers: one sets I²C address to 0x5A (ADD-to-GND), and three enable 10 kΩ pull-ups on SDA, SCL, and IRQ lines — all can be disabled by cutting the respective traces.
