MT6701 is a generation of magnetic Angle encoder chip based on differential Hall induction principle. MT6701 senses the component of the magnetic field perpendicular to the chip surface, and with the rotation of a pair of magnetic radial magnets on the chip surface. MT6701 outputs 0-360° angle signals.. In addition to providing ABZ/UVW incremental output and Analog/PWM absolute Angle output, the MT6701 provides 14 bit digital Angle output via the I2C/SSI interface. In addition to rotation Angle measurement, the MT6701 also offers a "push" output to enable single-chip button (rotation + press) functionality.
