Engineered for NEMA23 stepper motors, this closed-loop driver combines high-speed responsiveness with industrial-grade communication. Its aluminium alloy housing provides superior thermal management during sustained operation, while internal ABS components ensure electrical insulation and dimensional stability. The driver accepts pulse inputs up to 160 kHz and delivers rotational speeds up to 3000 RPM, supporting microstepping from full-step (1) to 256 subdivisions. Control is possible through either step/direction pulses or serial commands over RS485 using MODBUS-RTU — offering dual-path flexibility for legacy or modern control architectures. Six operational modes include open-loop, closed-loop, and FOC variants for both interfaces. Curve-based acceleration/deceleration profiles enhance motion smoothness, and hardware-supported homing via limit switch enables deterministic zero-reference positioning. Synchronisation across multiple drivers allows coordinated multi-axis movement. Logic-level compatibility must be observed: signal COM voltage must match STP/DIR/EN high-level voltage (e.g., 3.3 V or 5.0 V). Minor cosmetic or layout variations may occur between production batches, per standard electronics manufacturing practice.
