Unit options: dBm, mW, uW, and nW. Test range: 70 dBm to +6 dBm. - High Efficiency Visual Fault Locator: Quickly identify fiber breakpoints, poor connections, bends or cracks. Useful for selecting the correct fiber to splice or locating a break fast. Emitting energy: 10 mW; standard wavelength: 650 nm. Modes include fast flashing, slow flashing, and high precision. - Light Source Function + REF Switching: NF-919 includes a built in light source at 1310 nm and 1550 nm. Frequency options: 00HZ/270HZ/1000/HZ2000HZ. REF is used to test the attenuation value (relative power loss). Press REF to display the attenuated optical power. - Long Battery Life & LCD Display: Compact, lightweight design with an automatic shutdown to conserve battery life. Color LCD provides clear visibility. Power is supplied by a 3.7V 1500mAh battery for quick and efficient recharging. - Applications: suitable for field fiber installation and commissioning, splice preparation and verification, and fault finding on active fiber links.
